Does anyone know offhand who sings as Patti in the Forbidden Broadway spoof of Patti Lupone/Anything Goes? I stumbled across this the other day and if I hadnt known better I'd have sworn it was Ms. Lupone herself--the imitation is spot on. And I just hafta say that, while I've listened to it numerous times in the past few days, the little section between "Patti Lupone" & "I Get a Kick Out of Me" where 'Patti' is doing "dialogue" never fails to make me laugh ridiculously loud & long.

I believe at one point (maybe still is) she was married to fellow cast member and now Spamalot cast member Michael Mc Grath.

They're still married, and I believe have 2 children.

She nails it too. The first time I heard her "Patti-babble" I was on the floor laughing.

I think anyone whose heard it and familiar with Patti has that reaction. It makes me giggle just thinking about it. It was so absurdly spot-on.

okay i listened to it again, and heard the differences in patti and toni's voices, but damn! that's a great impression... she had me fooled. i thought patti was being a good sport by making fun of herself..oh well. i still love her to death.

I didn't want to start a new thread, but how many Forbidden Broadway cast recordings have been made to date? (And what year did it start?)

There were 5 different FB cast recordings (Vol. 1-5). Then, they made a highlights version, in honor of the 20th anniversairy. (which can be referred to as Vol. 6) and afterward made the FB :A Spoof Odyssey (Vol. 7). Recently, they released the FB: SVU (Vol. 8 ).
