Is the orchestra section at the Gershwin raked (I thinkt hat's the word? What I mean is, are the seats on a flat level, or on an incline?) I was jsut wondering because I have tickets for W*cked next month, and I've had the problem before of tall people sitting in front of me, and not being able to see.

Thanks.

If I recall, the theatre is raked, so you can usually see over the head in front of you.

Trust me, the Gershwin has probably the best elevation of any theatre I can think of. I had a total 6'6 guy in front of me once (and I'm barely 5'2) and not even so much as an inch of head-top in the way :)

Nice. I'm 5'2" also, but luckily the only time I got stuck with a REALLYl tall perosn in front of me was at Jersey Boys.

Yeah it is!!! Would you also like to buy a bridge?

It is actually both. There is the flat level up to row like N or O (which also is kinda raked, you can see over peoples heads a bit) and then after that, it is stadium seating.

The theatre is great in the orchestra section, but if you are up higher the sound sucks. I was in the upper middle of the orchestra and had a great time.
