I am terribly sorry if this topic has been discussed to death, but I have not noticed a thread about this *specific* thing. I thought it might be an interesting read.
What are specific moments (not whole scenes or songs, if possible) of a show that make you want to revisit that show? For example, for me it would be:
*possible spoiler*
In Spelling Bee, when Olive gets the second place $25 prize and gives it directly to the lady. The look on Celia's face was so endearing. I'm a sucker for things like that and I would want to see the show again just for that.
*end spoiler*
Also, in Little Women, Jo and Prof. Bhaer's kiss at the end always made me so happy. The way Sutton threw herself on him and then pushed him away was so funny. I loved it!
Anyone else?
"Blow out the candles, Robert, and make a wish. Want something. Want something."
My first Broadway show was "The Wiz" and the moment that still sticks out for me is the dancer who played the tornado and endless black cloth that kept coming out of her head piece to make the tornado effect. It's moment I will never forget and one that sent me back to see that show a number of times.
"Smart! And into all those exotic mystiques -- The Kama Sutra and Chinese techniques. I hear she knows more than seventy-five. Call me tomorrow if you're still alive!"
"So, if you care to find me, look to the western sky!..." Hell, it made me go back 4 times.
"Lots Wife" from CoC. Tonya Pinkins was utterly phenomenal in this song.
Bernadette's "Rose's Turn" from Gypsy. I cried, I smiled, I got chills. One of the best vocal performances Ive ever seen in a theater. All three times.
The 6 "speller" performances in Bee as well as the "adult" performances. More so the Spellers. Celia Keenan-Bolger's performance can be singled out here. I have yet to see Sara Ramirez but its gonna be hard convincing me that Keenan-Bolger's winning performance wasn't Tony worthy.
"Keep It Gay" from The Producers. Only with the OBC, though. The funniest show Ive ever seen as it's peak during this wonderful song.
"Seasons of Love" from RENT. I don't think anymore can be said.
Wow, does anyone else have a favorite moment before the year 2000? Not that I have a problem with any of moments that are already mentioned but I'm just curious.

We were in Orchestra row M, left side. I loved being far back because the last time I saw it I was second row, and you could see the lift used to fly the car because you were so close. It made it slightly less magical. But only slightly:)
If watching is all you're going to do, then you're going to watch your life pass by without you.
The CHICAGO Act 1 Finale. Nothing like seeing the curtain come down with Velma holding the note "Jazzz" - and Roxie is just laying there - loving her new scheme.
That car is magical no matter how you see it. I saw one of its test runs before a show from onstage with just the regular theatre lights on, and it was still awe-inspiring. But I apologize nonetheless.

Definitely (as I mentioned in an earlier post) "On a clear day..." from Taboo, that line is just so chilling. ESPECIALLY with Euan Morton singing it. I've tried on many occasions to match his tone, but it just seems impossible.
I agree with the, "It's Me!" in Wicked, or even the end of For Good.
I hold a degree in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University. It is useless. Now I'm funny for money. Oh, and I sing.

Here's one: In The King and I revival with Yul Brynner -- the "Shall We Dance" scene, and Mr. Brynner's curtian call.
More recent: Hugh Jackman's entire performance in BFO.
In London: Michael Ball, as Count Fosco, singing "You Can Get Away with Anything" in Woman in White.
WHen Sherie says "Let's get that Greek" and form then on until the end of DRS. Something about how she says it...also "Dirty Rottne Number".
"Skid Row" of Little Shop
Bialystock's monologue in the Producers coupled wiht Springtime for Hitler
The Bishop Scene in Les Miserables
Rosencrantz: "Be happy - if you're not even HAPPY what's so good about surviving? We'll be all right. I suppose we just go on."
- from Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
The amazing and beautiful performences in PIAZZA. Also for PIAZZA: When Kelly sings "The Light in the Piazza" and belts "Forever" in "Octet", "Statues and Stories", and "The Beauty Is". I could go on and on...
"I've always secretly longed for an actress to get to the top of the cherry picker and projectile vomit all over the guards below."- Wonderwaiter in the "Defy Gravity?" thread.
