im planning on seeing the matinee performance of little shop of horrors a week from this saturday. what time do people usually start lining up for rush tickets? do they go on sale when the box office opens or a few hours before curtain?
im sorry if this question was posted earlier on this board.
The tickets go on sale as soon as the box office opens. This past Sunday a group of friends and I went and got rush tickets For LSOH. The box Office at 10:00 so we got there around 9:00 and there where a 3 people in line already. This was fine because you are only aloud to buy 2 tickets at a time and they have around 26 tickets per show with two show in the day. So I would suggest you do the same if you get there around 9:00 you shouldn't have a problem.

thanks :) i found that after i posted. i do like hearing information like that first hand from other people though because you get information like whats a good time to get there, if there are usually a lot of people there or not. stuff like that.
Amy Spanger is still in the show. I saw her as Hope three times. She's wonderful!! Their rush is really easy, I got it all three times I saw the show. Tickets go on sale 3 hours before the performance and one time I got there RIGHT at 5 pm for an 8 pm show and I got a great seat. On Fridays, though, you have to get there really early.
Actually I found the Little Shop stage to be low compared to Millie and Hairspray it's very low. I was in the very first row cent one show and I was fine I didn't even have to look up that much like at Hairspray my neck hurt from the height of the stage. But the rush tickets aren't the first two rows. They are the far right and far left sides of the theater in the first 6 or so rows. If you get in towards the center of the rows they are fine but if you get the end of the row you miss what's going on on the side you are sitting on. They are labeled partial view but there worth the price. I was stuck in the last seat of the row F on stage left it was pretty bad I missed the Da-d0 section with the girls. The whole show wasn't bad by the second act I was almost center because so many people kept moving around and it was a lot better.

I was one of those 3 that were in line when you got there. We arrived at 6:00 am, yes I know crazy! BUT a few weeks ago we tried to rush for Hairspray and got there @ 7:30 and all the seats were taken. Having to drive 3 hours I didn't want to chance it. Great show! Not too bad of seats considering there were people right next to me paying $80 more then me to see the show. How cute is Hunter? I love that man to death! Anyway good luck!
