Cabaret Ushering

Just curious if anyone knows how this works. When you put your name on the list is the ushering for that day or another time.
How many ushers do they allow?

You can only sign up on Saturdays at 5 pm, and I believe they only allow 8 volunteers per night. You can't sign other people up without them being there.
