I know reaction to the first episode was mixed, but tonight's was frickin' hilarious!

The two white tigers ae named Blake and Victoria - a tribute ot Blake Edwards and Julie Andrews, perhaps?

There was a Carol Channing joke which was good, but I can't remember it!

Lot's of funny stuff about Matt Lauer and Katie Couric - "She has that I'm-a-good-girl-on-the-outside-but-I'm-probably-wild-in-the sack thing going for her".

The Sigfried and Roy bits are great: "Magic - you fickle bitch!"

Not to mention the pair of lesbian bimbo gophers.

Cheryl Hines didn't do much on this episode. The emphasis was on Carl Reiner (the old lion), John Goodman, and whoever the guys are who do the voices of Sig and Roy.

OK- I re-watched the tape - here's the bit:

Roy: Oh, stop it Sigfried. You are like a dog with a... that thing they won't let go of...

Sigfried: A bone?

Roy: No... it's long and white and brittle...

Sigfried: Carol Channing?

Roy: Yes, that's it!

Not a huge fan so far...it's trying too hard, it's too clever for it's own good. I feel the same about The Family Guy.

I do love love love The Simpsons.

FAMILY GUY will always reign supreme over SIMPSONS, FUTUAMA, KING OF THE HILL, FATHER OF THE PRIDE, etc

It is funnier, wittier, sharper and more intelligent then all the others.

I heard Sigfried and Roy are doing their own voices - can anyone confirm? I agree - this show is hilarious. The poor little panda (Lisa Kudrow) is not to be believed!

Sorry guys - I just answered my own question. Sigfried is voiced by Julian Holloway and Roy is voiced by Dave Herman.
