springer can go into most any theater. chitty will only fit in the gershwin, minskoff, and ford. the talk is that chitty will go into the ford. spamelot has been slated for the shubert in chicago and new york. the wiz can go anywhere.

You said it could go anywhere. I'm just wondering if that's a possibility.

THe Wiz has played at the Majestic, the Broadway, and the Lunt. It is TOO big of a show to fit into the helen Hayes.. at minimum, it would have to go into the Hirschfeld (currently home to Wonderful Town)

Sadly, Broadwayguy2, I think you are wrong.

LocalOneCrew said that The Wiz could go "anywhere". LocalOneCrew is never misinformed.

Remember that.

Circle in the Square seems to be the perfect space for Jerry Springer. It's a great place for that television studio talk-show atmosphere. Since it's in the round, I wonder if they could actually stage it so that the studio audience (chorus) and guest are at opposite ends. I would really like to see the show.
