This colorful documentary was shown last night on the National Geographic Channel, and I assume (hope) it will be repeated. As a senior gay guy, I believe it is vitally important now that we remember our history, stand firm against those who oppose us, and embrace our Queerness.
It's says like these that I really see the palpable connection between the theatre and LGBTQIA+ inclusivity--it's what kept me doing theatre, and what continues to be a safe space for us to exist. Thankful for the theatre, but so sad about the country.
