When you lose them it hurts so bad, how long will the grief last. My girl was shot because I had her unleashed and some folks walk around with guns. I've never had my own children, but loosing your baby girl in this fashion makes you hate yourself, society, guns, America, even more.

I had a wonderful dog who lived 16 years and died peacefully one afternoon. I was heartbroken at the time and still miss him to this day. I can't imagine the pain you are going through losing a pet in such a violent manner. Nobody can't predict the length of your grief. All I can say is I am sorry for your loss and the best advice I have is to look back on the many good memories you had with your pet. Hang in there.
