The Vinegar Tree By Paul Osborn is part of a local LORT D theatre's season this year. I can't find much about this play other than its from the 1930s and a comedy (I think). Does anyone know much more about this play? I'm thinking about seeing it but like to learn a little more about it before purchasing a ticket.

The sap of the vinegar tree contains a high percentage of acetic acid (about 18%), which gives the sap a sour taste. This sour sap can be used to make vinegar, and Native Americans are thought to have been the first to do so.
