At last night's performance, during the intro to "Getting Married Today," they announced that they had to stop the show and pulled down the curtain. A few minutes later, they restarted the number and continued. Anybody know why? Thanks!

I am absolutely in love with this production, but I'm a little disappointed to hear how frequently they're stopping in the middle of performances. Of course, they must continue to prioritize the safety of everyone on and off stage first and foremost, but it's just odd that they still haven't figured out how to run smoothly at this point in time.

Heard from my daughter who was at the show that when they restarted 5 minutes later they repeated the scene but this time there was a set piece that rose and then went back down (which presumably was supposed to happen initially). I’m not seeing the production until April so don’t know what that might have been, but clearly another technical malfunction.

Welcome to live theater, where things like this happen and it’s not always predictable. Of course they most likely check things before the show, but you can’t always guarantee nothing like this will ever happen for a show. Enjoy it! Haha.

I can't imagine the energy whoever was playing Jamie last night has rev up to hit that nervous note right from the start, only to be like, "Hold on..." Bless these actors!

Read my my post under Girl From North Country lottery. This happened at the matinee yesterday 15 minutes before the show’s end. A full ten minute halt.

At the top of the song, the priest rises out of the stage on the set piece that your daughter mentioned. At the end of her verse, it goes back down and the house tracks forward for the rest of the song.

No hiccups tonight and Matt Doyle was back in. There were quite a few noticeable mic gaffes though - the sound mixer seemed to not switch on/up the mics on the people speaking fast enough and some lines were missed
