At an event yesterday evening two people casually mentioned that Thoughts of a Colored Man had been professionally recorded and in negotiations to stream on CW Seed.
I thought this seemed a bit far fetched, but was curious if anyone had some scoop on this. I missed this one, so it would be great to watch!
Thats interesting... I know they recorder for Lincoln Center archives, and also B-roll..... Maybe the. person is referring to a Tony video.... Sometimes producers record a show for tony voters to see...
The CW Seed aspect is odd…but I would love for this show to be not only preserved but viewable for those who couldn’t make it in person. I saw a digital subway ad last night for it and was so sad that the show ended it’s run early.
Really weird to be watching Real Housewives of Atlanta and seeing the show being part of Kandi's storyline, since she was a producer on the production. Too bad the show didn't last longer, would've been nice to see the playwright maybe be considered for some of these awards. (Also, anyone know if this CW Seed thing actually happened?)

Sidenote: the ticket prices were too high for this show to continue imho. If they had deeper pockets and a lower price of admission, it could've survived.
