I found this site for Broadway discount codes. It is a nice collection of codes but needs more contributions to be comprehensive. Perhaps we could help update it and make it more useful.

broadwayhero.com

The designer posted about creating it a few months ago on Reddit.

RE: Broadwayhero.com

So many similar businesses have failed over the years. Shows probably don't want to pay money for this kind of marketing and then the business doesn't make any money and then the developer gets bored and moves onto other things.

I remember Ken Davenport's Broadwayspace.com and then Eric Rock's hitshowclub.com. Also not forgetting Hugh Hysell's broadwayinsider.com and then there was Tim Hawkins's entertainment-link.com. They all did pretty much the same thing as Broadwayhero.com

The current staples like theatremania and playbill are now terrible for discount offers and Broadwaybox has gotten pretty lame after it was sold for $2 Million and they were integrated into broadway.com, but they still get some good offers on there.

I suppose nytix.com still has good offers, because they charge for access they can afford to stay on top of it all. Maybe that's the only model that works long-term, everything else seems to fall by the wayside when the money dries up.

Just got this in email from Audience Rewards for Life of Pi:

Special VIP Rate:

 250 ShowPoints + $78 per ticket

I'm guessing non-VIP rate is:

500 ShowPoints + $78 per ticket

Audience Rewards

If you have a Chase credit card, check your offers as some cards/cardholders have a 5% off for SeatGeek.  It is not much, but every little bit helps.

My USPS mail preview email shows a Dancin’ flyer today with “save up to 40% on tickets”. I’ll post the code later today.

I tried the generic Ticketmaster code MAIL for Shucked, which works, but it's a lousy discount that barely saves anything. Massive fail on the part of the marketing team for not having a cheap preview promo to get butts in the seats and generate word of mouth.

Are there any good discount codes for DEAR WORLD at Encores out there, aside from the Access25 deal?

Got my very first mailer ever!

Life of Pi PIMAIL

It says you can book online, call or in person. I didn't know you can call to buy tix anymore. Do you know if the fee over the phone is the same as box office or online? I don't mind going to the box office, but it's a hassle vs over the phone where I can have the seating chart open.

Yes, if you call Telecharge to book, you still pay the same fees you would if booking online.

I got giddy seeing this, but when I checked for a Friday night in March, the mezzanine seats I want are $195.  Discounts ain't what they used to be.
