This morning, PPAC announced it's 2021-22 season, to kick off this October:

https://www.ppacri.org/events/all

JCS, DEH, and Hamilton were supposed to close the 2019-20 season, but were canceled when the pandemic hit in mid-March.  The other shows listed were originally part of the 2020-21 season, which never happened.

The  other shows which never made it to the stage for 2019-20 was 'Hello Dolly!' , scheduled in mid-March, 2020, and 'Spongebob the Musical' which was scheduled for May, 2020 . Looks like those aren't coming back next season.

Also, 'Summer - The Donna Summer Musical was to be part of the 2020-21 season, that's not here either.

Hello Dolly was in RI, actually. It was the last full week before the COVID shutdown (I saw it on March 3rd). The SpongeBob national tour has closed, which is why it wasn't rescheduled.

Also removed from the original series lineup were Mean Girls, The Cher Show, and Les Mis.

I thought HD never made it, as it was scheduled the same weekend when the state shut down (March 13).

Yes, "Mean Girls" was supposed to be scheduled for this June, but it's not happening.

However, I don't see any scheduling of 'The Cher Show' or 'Les Miz' for the past two canceled seasons.

Hello Dolly was actually 3/3-3/8; I have a program from its stop there. As for Cher and Les Mis, they were in the original 2020-2021 season (announced back before COVID), and then removed from the shortened season that was supposed to play January-June this year (the original engagements can be found in this older publication, most of the documentation was removed when they changed the season). Les Mis isn't listed as it was an add-on, but I remember it being there. https://issuu.com/provpacri/docs/jan_showtimes_2020_final_issuu

Thank you for this!  So 'Hello, Dolly!' made it's last stop in Providence, I guess ? Before COVID closed the tour down ?

I think it officially closed the next week, in Buffalo (it played half its run there before being shut down, if I remember right)

The Hello Dolly tour played its last performance March 11th in Buffalo. Their last performance was scheduled to be the 15th, then play a week or 2 in Rochester or Syracuse (not sure which one) where they would close the tour. The Toronto and Schenectady were cancelled back in January 2020, which were to be April/May 2020. This cancelation was not Covid related.
