Dear Evan Hansen - lottery seats vs standing room

Anyone have insight on how frequently online lottery wins are standing room instead of actual seats? Is it typically only when the show is sold out completely?

I don’t have a great sense in the amount of Lotto seats vs amount of standing room spots. I can tell you I’ve won the lottery twice, one being a seat (first row orchestra stage left) and one being a standing room spot. I honestly prefer the standing room spots for this show, it’s an excellent view. First row orchestra was great and you can see every last emotion which is awesome but your view is skewed and your head has to crane a bit. But either way it’s an interesting vantage point for a great price so would highly recommend claiming your lotto tickets even with knowing that it’s a gamble.

Other thing you could possibly do is call Ticketmaster and tell them you are having trouble claiming on the website and they will do it over the phone for you. I was having trouble and when they helped me they told me it was standing room and asked if it was okay before I gave them my credit card info and purchased
