Noticed there was no board on the topic already, so I figured I'd start one.

They apparently have $39 rush tickets available in-person when the box office opens. Has anyone tried this yet? What time did you arrive? Where were your seats? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for making this separate board. I got tired of scrolling through the debates on other threads trying to filter intel on the lottery and Rush tickets lol.

Will be in town 9/28 and also curious on people's rush experience: was there a line, what time people were lined up, and where the seats were. TIA.

I rushed last Saturday for Betrayal and there was a long line for Slave Play’s rush by the time the box office opened. No one in line at 6:30am. I think the first person showed up 7:30am-8:00am. By the time the box office opened, I would estimate that there were around 20-25 people in line for Slave Play.

"Mostly, I loved the size of these people's emotions. Nobody has emotions this size anymore. Outsized emotions. Operatic emotions. Kushemski and Vanda are like Tristan and Isolde, they're Paolo and Francesca. Nobody's in total thrall like this anymore. Nobody's overcome by passion like this, or goes through this kind of rage." While the weekend may have been a long line, I rushed yesterday and got there at 9:58 and was only sixth in line. It was a Wednesday, so with the two shows I had no problem getting a ticket. As far as I saw everyone who rushed was front row

I just won the digital lottery ($29+ $2 fee) for tomorrow's 9/28 2PM show. If you don't win, you get a code for discounted tickets ($30-$60 off) for show you entered.

Update: Seats were row E mid mezz. There was a block of about 15 seats in front of lottery winners that were empty.

I'm planning to try to rush tomorrow for the evening show. Any recent reports? I have no idea how early to get there.

Decided to see it again today. Got to the box office at 9:40 and was 6th in line. Still front row, which is the perfect place to view these performances.

If you get to the box office by 9:30 you should be fine.

Ok so if anyone is curious, I rushed this morning and got there at 8am which was way too early. Another pair showed up, don’t remember the exact time, but the third person behind me arrived at about 8:45am. By 10am, there were a total of 10 of us in line.

Still front row - though not sure if they sell additional tix once the front row is sold.

Also to note, there is some bus tour operating from that end of 45th St., not sure if it was due to the rain and people wanted to huddle under the marquee, but it was INCREDIBLY congested under the Golden. Upon walking up, I thought I was out of luck and then realized none of those people were rushing. The crowd only grew as time went on, seems like several bus loads of people went out during my two hour wait time. Point is: it might not be a calm waiting area while your rush.

That is typical. Mostly people going to the outlet malls in Connecticut.

From what I just saw on Twitter, there were only 6 rush tickets to tonight's show and 5 for last night's show.

It’s been nearly impossible to get rush. Obviously, they’re closing, but they also have only been giving about 6 tickets a show, so first 3 would get it and that’s it. I got rush on Thursday. First two people came at 5:30 and 5:45, and I got there at 6:30. Today I stopped by for rush for a friend at 7:00 and there is already 18 people in line.

Impossible as it might be, I'm going to try tomorrow's for the evening show. If you want to join me in the queue for a more entertaining rush experience, please PM
Thanks!

Today in the rush line someone in a black car was picking up tickets for someone very important (wouldn't say who it was, had to write it down for the box office women) for today’s 2:00 matinee. Wonder who it’s gonna be...

This is definitely worth seeing, rush or no rush. I had tickets in October but hurt my ankle badly and could not go. I finally saw this this week and it was such a stunning experience.

i wrote more about it here:

but really, just go. You might not even like it but you will not forget it.

I stood in the rush line this past weekend. Got there about 1.5 hours before box office opened. There were about 20 people ahead of me which did not look good for my chances, but I remained in line. It was also a 2 show day. Miraculously, I got the last matinee rush ticket in the second row center orchestra. Amazing seat.  I also won the digital lottery later that week and loved the show so much that I couldn't pass up on the opportunity to see it again before the show officially closed. So happy that I did! My lottery ticket was located in the front row balcony which was also a pretty good seat. Goodluck on trying to see the show. FYI: It took me about 5 attempts before I won the digital lottery so my advice for this would be to keep trying.

I tried to rush this morning arriving around 6:15am. When I first got there I was the 9th person in line but it appears other people were saving spots because by the time tickets went on sale I was around 14th or 15th. They sold out 3 people in front of me with that person arriving at 5:50am.

I confirmed with the box office that they were still going to offer some rush tomorrow despite not having the lottery for tomorrow shows.
