With theater ticket pricing spiraling out of control, the $370 (incl fees) ransom for a good orchestra seat for “The Lehman Trilogy” in April is out of the question for me.

Not being familiar with the house, how is the mezzanine @ the Nederlander? Specifically the 2nd row? At $199, it’s my only other option. I read that it overhangs row G, but is that distant from the stage? How’s the legroom up there? (I’m 6&rsquoNederlander seating.

(Mysteriously, the entire front row of the center mezz is unavailable for the entire week of my trip the last week in April.)

I’d really like to see this show but have 9 shows on my wish list for that week. Some I’ll spend more for (Virginia Woolf, Company...) but can’t justify these prices in my overall bloated budget for the trip.

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide.

I sat front row mezzanine for War Paint and it was a fantastic seat. I'm absolutely hate when the Mezz/Balcony is too far from the stage and I feel removed, but I felt very close to the action so I would say you will be very happy with the 2nd row mezzanine!

Oh and as far as legroom goes it may be a bit tight but that's to be expected for almost all seating in any Broadway theatre, unfortunately.

Thanks so much for the response, FANtomFollies. I pulled the trigger and am glad that I’ll  get to see the show.  Your input was most helpful.  Much appreciated.

Robbie2, you made me an even happier guy.  Thanks so much for the visuals.  You guys confirmed for me that I made the right purchase.  Looking forward to showtime...
