Phantom & Mean Girls Rush?

Hi everyone! I'm going on a sister trip in early August, and neither of us have ever seen a Broadway show or rushed before! We want to rush for Phantom and Mean Girls (Pink Wednesday). Does anyone have any tips on getting good tickets or information about the rush process in general? Are these shows still in high demand? Thanks! :)

I would say given mean girls isn't the most popular show 8am on a Wednesday even during a popular month is a pretty good bet on getting a pair. Phantom I would say ask for the best available partial view. They allocate these for the lottery but never actually sell most of them to the lottery as far as I am aware. You will miss very little compared to the value of the price and especially orchestra seating. Whichever one you get to first go for the matinee. They tend to sell out first.

Just so you know, Phantom does not have a Wednesday matinee, so you'd have to do Mean Girls matinee and Phantom in the evening. Phantom does have a Thursday matinee.
