I’m all for scalpers losing out. It looks like it should get that cheap just before the show the rest of the week as well based on how many tickets are available.

Keep in mind that it’s most likely not a scalper selling them. Tickets loose value closer to the event. When I’ve used stub hub for theatre tickets is usually ends up with me sitting among a group that had some extra tickets because some didn’t come on the trip. Or, a party where someone was unable to make it. At those prices that close to showtime, the seller is willingly taking a financial hit. The final price is whatever the tickets are going for plus roughly ten bucks stub hub service fees. Not to mention that when you sell tickets stub hub takes a cut which is how they make money. It’s situations like these where it seems like it’s someone who would rather the ticket be used and get something financially back rather than the ticket go to waste
Those prices aren't guaranteed, but they drop the closer that it goes to showtime. If they are paper tickets that need to be picked up from STubhub center, you want to do it at least by 15-20 mins depending how close you can get to the theater. This will be even more rare with the holiday season approaching.
