If you're not far from the theater, you can also pop in today and see if there are any tickets for tomorrow's show. That's what I did when I saw it on a whim in March. I had great seats in orch b for $229.

Try the box office on Sunday and see if they have tickets for Tuesday.

Move after intermission. Scope out unsold on tickets on stubhub/Ticketmaster before the show. This show isn’t selling out so I’d think it’s a good possibility.

They usually don't, I was only asked at Come From Away (My mom gets me tickets, same last name though), and I gave them my ID and they didn't question it. I never volunteer that information though, I just say i'm picking up tickets for _____. Fingers crossed I'm not jinxing myself, lol.
I have an extra TDF ticket if anyone is interested in attending tonight. I'm going to swing by the box office now and see if I have any luck getting tickets early. Just looking to recoup ($40). I will update with seating location if I can get them.

I don't know if this holds for Oct, but I know September is a slow month and I would watch and see how low the prices would go closer to the start of the show. I ended up scooping up cheap tickets ($168 for 2 total) via tickpick (orch x obstructions~you only miss some stuff, but I sat there when I saw it for first time and it was fine). The craziness with the pricing/returns makes me weary of the next batch of tickets being released. Unless you get the cheaper ones $20-40/part, it seems impossible to resell if you have to. Very frustrating and annoying.
