I’m looking at rushing Come From Away tomorrow or sometime this week. Anyone have any idea how early the line starts and how many tickets they typically have? Also what are the tickets like for anyone who’s rushed in the past?
I’m debating between it and Anastasia but I’ve heard the view from anastasia rush is really bad..
Thank you in advance to anyone who had any insight!
I rushed CFA 2 Sat ago. I got there at 8 AM. There were about 10 15 people already there. The first group got there at 6 AM. I got the last rush ticket for the evening. There were a few left for the mat. Not sure how many they have. It probably varies by day. Hope this helps you.
For anyone else thinking of rushing soon; I got here for about 8AM (on a Tuesday) and am currently fifth in line! At about quarter past another person joined.
I’ll detail my overall experience for future rush-ers! Because I couldn’t find any recent reports, thus my making this post .
I got there at 8AM (Tuesday) and was fifth in line. The line didn’t really grow until after 9AM. After that it grew quickly to over twenty people, easily. They brought us in at 10AM on the dot. I got seat A7. This was the front row, extreme left hand side. So yes, it was partial view. All of those in front of me seemed to get the same. However, I didn’t miss anything of the show! Most of the show happens Center stage and if you sit upright you can see most of the blocked corner too!
For $38 I think it’s an incredible seat and it’s pretty great to say you got to sit front row at a sold out show (yes, people were at the back standing so I assume the remaining rush people got SRO). I also saw the woman beside me’s ticket: she spent $108! A really easy rush and a good seat!
I actually prefer SRO, but they don't sell those until they're sold out. Last time I went on a Saturday, they weren't sold out for the evening show yet and when we went back at 5pm, they still weren't. Does anyone have experience with when they're selling out and starting to sell SRO?
Back in May, I got to the box office around 1pm on a Friday. Show was not sold out, but the seats that were left were out of my price range. The staff member working in the b.o. offered us SRO, which I didn't think would be available since the show wasn't sold out. We took SRO and I am so glad we did. We were right in the center and the view was perfect. We went back a couple days later in the morning to try for rush tix to no avail, but we were offered SRO once again when the show had not sold out.
