Hi all. I was wondering if anybody has inquired about standing room for Frozen since it opened last week. I was there about a week and a half ago, and the box office told me that they would start selling it after opening - anyone had any success?

A friend of mine asked one of the box office staff last week and she said yes they would sell standing room and then another told her no. I also asked about it on Friday when I bought my ticket and the gentleman at the box office told me they wouldn't be selling standing room. So, I'm not sure given the unclear answer[s] I've heard if they will or won't.

I just went and asked them and they said they will not sell standing room at all. They said that they aren’t sure why some employees are telling people that they would. And they also said that the theater doesn’t accommodate standing room, and when I told them that I’ve stood at that theater before they replied with “well that was probably before they transformed the theater for frozen” ....not quite sure how they would transform the standing room area when the show takes place on the stage not the back of the orchestra section lol but If anyone sees the show and can take a look at the standing room area to see if they would even be able to accommodate people I guess that would give us our answer... hoping for standing room eventually though :/ maybe they will get sick of so many people asking and open it up at some point haha (wishful thinking)

If the box office says no, whether the theater supports it or not is sort of unimportant, no?

Yep that’s correct, just makes it confusing when certain people in the box office say they will eventually do it and others say they will never do it haha. But according to the gentleman I spoke with today, it’s a no-go

Well, that's very disappointing. I really don't want to end up paying $75 for partial view. Thanks anyways guys!

I think it's hilarious that one would say "I've done standing room here before!" expecting something like "Oh, then we must be offering it based on your experience!"

The rear railing is gone on the house left side of the orchestra. It's still there for house right, though.

I wasn’t expecting them to change their policy based on my prior experience. I just don’t fully understand why standing room is show dependent rather than theater dependent. If there is space, then why not offer it? But clearly that’s not how it works unfortunately :/
