Going to see it in April. Has anyone else seen it there before, do they use the trap door for No Good Deed? And where is the stage door for the theatre?

The trapdoor is never used on tour for No Good Deed.

The stage door is to the left as you walk out of the theater. There will be some red stairs and a doorway about halfway down the block. Hope that helps. Have fun!

Thank you! Do they normally come out on tour?

I’ve seen 4 shows there over the last two years and I have stage doored every time and several people always came out, after both matinee and evening shows. I’ve seen Wicked on tour as well, in Louisville, and the majority of the cast came out then as well.

I saw Wicked when it first came to TPAC in 2009, and the trap door wasn’t used. As bwayphreak observed, the tour is staged so that a trap isn’t used and Elphie merely enters from the wings.

As far as the stage door, turn left as you exit the lobby, walk to the end of the block, and then take another left to go around the corner of the building. It’s about halfway down the block/length of the theatre (TPAC takes up an entire city block). The actors exit the stage door and then walk up a flight of stairs to street level.

I stage-doored If/Then there, and Anthony Rapp came out pretty quickly. I left before LaChanze and Jackie Burns came out, but I think I recall seeing on social media that they eventually did. This was the first night of the engagement, and TPAC usually throws an opening night cast party, which may be why they were later than Rapp. At any rate, it seems like stage door odds are the same as in NYC, with fewer people waiting and admittedly less of a tradition and expectation. I’ve stagedoored Wicked on tour before, though not at TPAC, and the cast came out prepared: they know the show has a huge fan base. Have fun!

The trap was only used on the 1NT and in theatres that had a floor with a trap. Stagedoor in Nashville is weird as there are 2 ramps that lead both ways out of the door.

Ginna Claire and Mary Kate are both good at stage-dooring!

Do you wait at the top of the stairs?
