I'm taking my sister to see Bandstand this August because she loves Corey Cott. I was wondering how the right and left front rows are at this theater, because we are both extremely short so having no one in front of us would be great (plus being closer to Corey is a plus for her). Just wondering if going front is worth it on the sides or if going back a few rows (despite our height) is worth it. Thanks

Coincidentally, I took that above pic from my box seat when I saw the show last month. As you can see, the stage is not too high, so seats in the front row on the sides should be fine for you. I'm short, too, so I always worry about people's heads being in the way. Have you considered seats in the front row of the mezzanine as an option, though? The Jacobs is an intimate theatre, and I think you'll have a better view of the whole stage, while still being close to the action. I know that your little sister wants to be close to Corey Cott, but, in many cases, I think the front row is just too close, even when the stage is not that high, especially for a show like this, with a lot of dancing across the entire stage.
Maybe it was just my ears or I'm misremembering, but when the on stage band was playing, it was really loud and I was 8 rows back center orch. Something to consider, but others might have had a different experience.
Also, it's been posted on other threads, but I'm not sure if you've seen the discount code that was released recently for Bandstand. If you go telechargeoffers.com and enter the code BDMAIL525, they have great orchestra and front mezzanine seats for $99, including the front row of both those sections.

I sat front row mezz and it was a great view, the theater is rather small- so still feels close to actors

I agree, it was one of the louder shows that I've been to recently, but I liked it that way, so I'm probably not the best judge of what's "too loud."
I agree with everyone else about the view being better from a few rows further back. That being said, if your sister's really excited to see Corey Cott more than anything else, there's nothing like sitting super close to the stage and seeing your "rockstar" just feet in front of you. If you can get the front row tickets, that would probably be the most awesome experience for her.
I can't figure out how to insert an image into a post (keeps putting a blank box in) but this picture is the view from front row mezz. As you can see, I have a great view of the stage. But the people in front row orchestra have a better view of Corey :)

I have to agree with this. My personal preference would probably be the front row of the mezzanine, but, if I were a 12-year-old girl, I'd want to be in the front row of the orchestra. She'll remember that experience for the rest of her life.
Thanks guys! I'm thinking about front mezz now, but as Malka and CT2 said my sister is really just in it for corey so she probably would enjoy it from the front no matter what
It doesn't look too high at all the way it's done, as well as great legroom!
I did see Color Purple there from front row center and it was a perfect view, the stage for Bandstand looks to be about similar height as it was for Color Purple at that theatre.
