I'm currently a MT Major in NYC using a three inches Capezio Manhattan Xtreme. However, I severely dislike them. So after saving up I am looking for new shoes. I've narrowed it down to LaDuca Angelique or Miller & Ben La Coquette. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with either or a preference. Or is there are any other three inches shoes I should look at.

Thanks!

P.S. Between school and outside classes I tap 8-10 hours a week.

Between the ones you've mentioned, I would go with LaDuca. My students love them. The Capezio Adult Chorus Is a great shoe as well. They're probably around the same price as LaDuca.

I couldn't tell you more as I'm a guy so I'm going off what my female students say and what look and sound the best. But if you wanted advice on a traditional tap shoe- the K360 is the best on the market.... I'm still bitter they no longer make Alexander Concerto's.

I've never heard of anybody choosing anything over LaDuca, they're the best of the best. Durable and comfy.

They/them. "Get up the nerve to be all you deserve to be."
