I realize this line was a joke because Anne Hathaway isn’t fat, but she literally says, “I thought I’d take a chance on the fat girl.” Like, it’s not so much of a stretch.

Seriously? Do you even know the plot of THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA or what the cliche''d shallow mentality of the fashion industry, which is what underscores the story?"
That’s exactly why I suggested her. Calm down a little, babe. We disagree, it’s fine.
LOVE Ashley Park as Emily. Please make that happen.
I feel like people will hate me for this, but the only person I want as Andy is Patti Murin. I think she's just about as perfect for this as you can get.
Has anyone heard any rumblings of who Lois Lane/Bianca may be? I have a feeling it might be Betsy Wolfe. She has a long, long history with Roundabout and she is a similar type to Heléne Yorke.
I never knew how badly I wanted a Cher baseball cap until now.
How is Emily Skinner's Lucille Ball coming? During the first preview, it was almost as if they told her that night that they were adding Ball in. She didn't really add any character - it was just Emily Skinner. Sorta a let down. Which is surprising, because Skinner is consistently terrific. Has she made any changes?

I remember her doing that during the first preview, and my thought was, "Oh, man, she messed up but caught herself so well." I suppose they decided to switch them around for...whatever reason. It doesn't scan as well, I'll
I actually quite like Mendez's accent. It feels genuine to the character, and to who her Carrie is. Broad, yes, but at least she's making a choice - which is not something I can say about a lot of actors in this cast.
With the case of the bench scene, it almost feels like they just want to get it over with. I don't understand recording as much as they did if they were going to cut so much. As someone else said, the cuts are glaring. I would have rather them just re
If this actually happens, I hope Annaleigh Ashford can reprise her role as Jeanie, solely so we have a recording of her rendition of Air. But, yeah, this is going to be a mess. It makes me wonder why we don't just take the Hollywood Bowl productions and turn them into NBC productions. I mean, Michael Arden's "Annie" is flawlessly cast and I'd much rather see that, unedited, than this beautiful show turned upside down to fit into NBC's approved viewing constraints.

I’m sure you’re incorrect.

I, too, wish we could get a recording of “Grand Hotel” - and now I’m not giving up hope completely yet. Though I still think it’s unlikely unfortunately.
So excited about this recording. I’m so happy to know that there will be a version of this score that I love in the world.
