Audra in Concert May 5

I hope everyone who gets to see her on tour has a magical time! I had gotten tickets in January but then I got a gig and previews for my show start the day I was supposed to see her. So glad there will be an album so I can at least hear what I’ll be missing.
I believe "Mean Girls" will do Where Do You Belong? and Meet the Plastics, as they transition into each other and feature Grey Henson, Taylor Louderman, and Ashley Park. Barrett Weed also posted on Instagram that she will be in the Tony performance, and she's also in those numbers.
I want them to do World Burn, solely because some people still don't understand why Taylor Louderman was nominated, and that song in particular shows off oh so much of her ferocity
I don't think Barrett will be nominated either, but I do wish she would be. It seems as though they were pushing her above everyone else for a nomination, and for awhile it looked as though she'd be joining Rockwell, but Ashley Park has been nominated for every single award under the sun at this point.
I agree, all three of the Plastics will probably be nominated.
Yeah, no, that's not what I was saying. Rigg, though a legend, is not giving a Tony worthy performance. Just my opinion. I also don't think Fleming is giving us anything new with her Nettie. I'd be shocked to see Rigg nominated, though I expect Fleming to be. But I'd much rather see Ashley Park and Barrett Wilbert Weed nominated over two women being nominated solely on their name alone. Again, my opinion, but if Fleming and Rigg were just starting out, their performances would
I really don't believe Diana Rigg deserves to be or will be nominated. If she is nominated, I'd have a hard time believing it was for more than just her name. I'd much rather have the three "Mean Girls" ladies snag nominations. Park, Rockwell, and Weed are all much more deserving.
Ashley Park has been nominated for an OCC, a Lucille Lortel, two Drama Desks, two Distinguished Performance Awards, and now she’s just been nominated for a Chita Rivera Award. If she’s not recognized by the Tonys come May 1st, I’d be in complete shock. This is her time.

I know I've said this like three other times, but Concierge, if this list is accurate to nominations, I will die of happiness. I've nev
Are we thinking perhaps Ashley Park may get a nomination over (or with?) Weed? I can't imagine Kate Rockwell not being recognized, but it seems to me that two of the three ladies will be nominated.
Something I keep hearing is that purists of "Carousel" hate it, and newbies to the show adore it. I'm a purist, and I didn't like it. If you haven't ever been acquainted with the show, though, you may just walk out with a new favorite Rodgers and Hammerstein musical! I'm sure you'll have a good time.

I'd travel anywhere to see her do it. Obviously, my biggest dream would be for her to do it on Broadway, and for her to win her second Tony for it. (And to have a cast recording with her in the role. My gosh, wouldn't that be astonishing?) But as long as I get to leave this world knowing I've seen Ann
I hope to goodness the next revival of "Sweet Charity" we get isn't with Laura Bell. I think she'll be terrific in the role and I'm hoping to see her but in terms of a revival on a grand scale, I don't want her. I'd rather Sutton Foster reprise her role as Charity, or someone to give Annaleigh Ashford a shot at the role. Nonetheless, Bundy will be spectacular! Really hoping my plans will come together so I can see it!!

I know how the industry works. I don’t know how my comment implies that I don’t. Betsy will not replace in this show. Plain and simple. As mentioned above, she’s literally getting risidual checks for the labs she did. Betsy is smart, that’s all I’m going to say.

Not in a million years will she - or should she - replace in this show. She is a leading lady who deserves to originate Tony worthy roles.
