Can I come into one thread I'm interested in reading and not have to endure Jordan calling people names, being immature and acting like a total idiot? No. Ok.
I was there tonight and Andrew was great (I've only seen the show once before, back in May). He was a little nervous up until Origin of Love, and then he was way looser. He seemed to want to add "f***" to every ad-lib, and during Wig in a Box he said something like, "I know there are some BFAs in Musical Theatre here!"

I was there tonight!! Andrew did very well considering it was his first performance. He looks amazing as hedwig...just as beautiful as NPH! Vocally he did things differently which were interesting to me!! Only disappointment is that some of the jokes were slurred/whispered and therefore lost. That being said I will totally see him again to see his progress!!
It was interesting when Stephen Trask said that both Andrew and Neil approached the duality of Hedwig from different levels of masculine vs. feminine but landed at the same place. 2+5= 7 but so does 3+4=7.
The lotto looked pretty much the same as the lottos for Neil.
But the box office says it won't be selling standing room unless the show is sold out. Rannells' first show was sold out, so they did sell SRO last night. But the other shows this week apparently aren't sold out, so don't count on SRO. They offered only 8 standing room tickets last evening; the first person got in line at 11 p.m. the previous night. The third and fourth people said they didn't in line until 7 a.m.
Of course the BFA line has double irony, since much is made these days about the percentage of same employed at a given moment, i.e. a fair number were free to attend. Ask anyone who goes to open calls regularly.

That's always the case for standing room. They don't sell it unless the performance is sold out (when they sell them is at the discretion of the box office). And generally, most shows don't sell them in advance. This is nothing new.

According to Rannell's Instagram he seems to be with someone else. Perhaps they're still good friends?
