BWW Cookbook#0

I PM'd Rob and he's given his permission for us to do a BWW cookbook.

Now we have to go about the task of organizing things.

We need one person in charge.

We need to know which printer will do this project.

We have to contact celebrities and ask them to contribute recipes.

...did I leave anything out? (I'm sure I did)

Meanwhile, let's start going through our files and find what we can contribute to this project.

Of course, we'll give every recipe a new "Broadway" name.

I think that having it ready for the AIDS Walk might be unrealistic, but we could certainly aim for the Flea Market in September.

It was your idea, Dollypop. Would you consider being in charge?

Hate to bring up the subject of money, but it will be needed to get this thing published. Has anyone ever done a charity cookbook before? Any contacts for a publisher of one? Any idea of the initial cost?

This cookbook was a great idea DP.
Rest in peace, Iflitifloat.

Oooh, I love the Broadway Name idea. I'll be willing to contribute some recipes, and any creative ideas since that's all I'm really able to do at this point in my life, heh.

Maybe Mr. Shaiman has come favorite recipies to share? He's a big celebrity!!

The cover can be a collage of our ICONS, except those that Rob didn't find appropriate. :)

you could just do an internet search for 'create your own fundraising cookbook' ... and get stuff like this:

http://www.custom-cookbooks.com

Not that I have any experience with this site but it was one of the first results.

One caveat to start the bickering and various opinions...

NO MILLIE and NO HAIRSPRAY names, please.

This will be a classy cookbook! re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: BWW Cookbook

Perhaps we should organize the cookbook by the type os cuisine we are featuring:

The OKLAHOMA! section for American cooking

THE MOST HAPPY FELLA section for Italian cuisine

THE STUDENT PRINCE section for German/Bavarian dishes

THE FIDDLER ON THE ROOF section for Jewish meals

THE STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE section for Cajun food

The CAN CAN section for French cuisine

Do you think there's any interest in a FLOWER DRUM SONG section for Asian foods?

They did a cookbook as a fund raiser last year at the office. It's great fun learning what the people you spend a lot of time with enjoy.

I have several recipes you might like but I need help with Broadway names. : BWW Cookbook

I think any recipe that sounds a bit far-fetched should be tested.

Hey, what about a section for left-overs? We'll call it "Corine's Corner"

From the tone of this thread, I take it that there is going to be another gathering around May 16th?
