"A Sentimental Man" Cut From WICKED Movie

Being that all people can seem to do is judge musical movie adaptations before they're even friggin' released, I figured we could get a jump start on the WICKED movie. Who cares if it's not even in pre-production yet?

I can't believe they cut "A Sentimental Man!" That song is integral to the plot. If we don't realize just how sentimental the Wizard is then "No Good Deed" won't have the same punch and pizzazz that it's supposed to. He's just so gosh darn sentimental, for Shiz's sakes!!!

Stephen Schwartz is a sell-out. He's doing this all for the money.

If they took The King Of Old Broadway from The Producers movie, nothing is sacred.

They could cut the whole score IMO. It's all about the money. Ya think so?

Exactly. The Witch's downfall may seem anti-climatic if Rapunzel is still living. LAST MIDNIGHT ( assuming it hasn't been gutted and taken out by Disney) won't have the edge that it should have.

What I hated was them moving "Defying Gravity" to the end of the movie for everybody to sing like they did with "Tomorrow" in Annie.

If anything needs to be cut it's Something bad, it can easily be converted to dialog.

True. SOMETHING BAD, SENTIMENTAL MAN would likely be cut. WICKED WITCH OF THE EAST would probably be turned into dialogue
