I tried to find the threat on The Folowing but couldn't locate it with the search function or on Google.
Discovered this show mid way through it's run when a good friend was hired as a stand in for the psychotic sheriff. Watched the show from the begining on HULU plus. Just finished watching the season finale! Whoa! These last two episodes were INTENSE!
The cliff hanger was quite an incredible punch to the gut! Hoping htey can keep it up for the second season, though somehow I don't know for how long they can keep it all going.

ETA: I was somewhat ashamed of myself for actually cheering for that one cult member getting the sh*t kicked out of him!

Seriously. ONE F*CKING JOB. That's all they had to do. They had to have Claire tie her up, get a pair of pruning shears and cut the bitch up piece by piece. That's not that hard to do, show!

Every time someone slugged Emma, I cheered as well! That long neck just screams to be choked.

I doubt Joe is really gone. Yes, they said that dental records and DNA confirmed his death, but what if followers were running those tests?

They never did show Joe on fire. Just shot him through flames.

I don't know - I feel like if Joe's not dead it's going to have to be a cheat of some kind. Then again, Ryan went EVERYWHERE without backup because ummm...because.

I suppose it's possible he's alive, but I will be disappointed if he is (though Purefoy IS a great actor)

Because they needed that scene where he is in a dimmly lit space and is blindsided! Duh. I seriously don't think Joe is alive, he is gone. Just like having the cell phone didn't help getting out of the coffin. We are going to enter the Age of Emma.
We now Ryan will survive, but Claire?

It is all set up for Emma to want the Kid next season. That will be her motivation. A part of Joe.

I love this show! I agree with everything said. The actress must have a ball playing Emma.
