Annie in previews

I am a true fan of ANNIE, having seen many productions of it including the Goodspeed ANNIE pre-broadway...now this revival. What a mess this is. Sad...Sad...Sad.Poorly cast...horrendously staged...a real bore.Sorry but I had to leave at interemission....Easy Street did me in when the orphans appeared in French Maid costumes...this was one of those unbelievable Broadway moments....who thought of that?????? Dorothy Loudon must be laughing from her place in Heaven with Laurie Beechum next to her. I will return at a later date...if I can take all the kids, the cell phones, drinks and food in the theatre and the moving around during the book scenes. Will MATILDA be any better? This is not shaping up as a geart musical season!!!!!!

While your observations about the ANNIE revival are appreciated, there is already a thread dedicated to the subject (presently with 158 posts) You might want to move your post over there...
