Went last Saturday, got there around 9. We were probably around 25th in line. They give out 39 tickets for each show located in the boxes and extreme sides of the front mezzanine. There were 4 people in my group and we ended up getting Front Mezz. Row A 21-23 and Row B 21-23. While I had no problem seeing anything (I was in B21) my friend in A23 missed about half of the second act. Hope this helps and good luck!
Saw this last night after getting rush tickets at around 4:45 pm. The two seats were separate, and they were Orchestra Rows C and E all the way house right. EXTREMELY partial view.
Has anyone rushed this show more recently than the previous posts? Hoping to try this week (weekday not end) and wondering how early I should arrive. Thanks for any help!
I got there around 12:15pm last Wednesday and got a front row (partial view) seat in the Mezz. (Mezz row A seat 21, to be specific) and in my opinion, the seat was perfect. I had trouble seeing about a total of 4 minutes of the entire thing. Other than that the seat was perfect.
Where exactly does the line start if I get there at 9am? I'm not from New York so I'm not familiar with the area/building. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!
Wound up going on Tuesday, got there by 9am and was about 12th in line (got in, partial view on the front row mezzanine but I'd say my friend and I only missed maybe 4 minutes of visibility in act 2, not as terrible as I'd been lead to believe...)
To answer your question, the line started at the door furthest from Broadway (so, closest to the actual inside box office window). Though if you're there at nine as well, it'll probably already be apparent!
Has anyone done rush recently? I'm going this week and was wondering how early I ought to show up for a matinee. Do you think it's gotten more popular since it opened?
My friend rushed yesterday morning, right after the show opened, and she said there was barely a line. She was there around 8 am and got a side Row B orchestra ticket for that night’s show.
