As am I. So happy that this is getting recorded, it really is his best score to date. It also opens in Tokyo in early January. Good to know that even though Broadway audiences and critics cannot embrace new original theater, maybe the rest of the world can give this show the nice long life it deserves!
If you know of a sound track that is out of print that you feel should be available again or a cast recording that was never produced that you feel should have been, drop us a note and we'll see what we can do for you!
(minus 5 points for calling them sound tracks. But still, glad to have you!) Niche Music Group
Not surprising.. Though it is weird that this is the only Frank Wildhorn musical (ever I believe) that hasn't a song released somewhere by someone yet!
Also taz: Global Vision is Wildhorn & Jeremy Roberts, who did not work on this show.
I found a YouTube video of the Japanese dcast of B&C being interviewed and performing music from the show, Dyin' Ain't So Bad is at 6:40 and This World Will Remember Us is at 10:00. The actress who plays Bonnie is a wonderful singer. It's really funny though hearing such American music sung in Japanese. Japanese Bonnie & Clyde

Sounds a little bit like what Kritzerland is already doing.
I doubt it will get recorded, unfortunately... Just like there was the rumor of "Love Begins" being recorded for WONDERLAND as bonus track (which would've been a nice treat with Janet & Darren's ending & all).
Methinks there are cd's of cut songs like a series of cd's "Lost in Boston" and "Unsong Songs" but my memory fails as to the exact name of the cd's or the number of volumes. There was a cut song from CMIYC "fifty checks" So I guess some folks might just love cut songs, some are inquisitive like myself, while others do not hold them in high regard. It reminds me of the A&E show "Storage Wars" stuff that is tossed out by one is a treasure for someone else.
To seek revenge may lead to hell yet everyone does it but seldom as well......
Frank Wildhorn has a great closet of cut songs, or versions of songs (lyrics or arrangement) that would make for a great album. I'm sure it's been discussed before but never happened.
Lots of great Camille Claudel songs ("I'm Home," "Snow Falls" duet), WONDERLAND ("Home" as a duet, "Worst Day of My Life," "Down the Rabbit Hole" as a solo), Bonnie & Clyde ("This Never Happened Before," "Short Order World") .. I mean the list goes on... Great songs.
Agreed, Philly, an album of cut songs would be great - maybe a good project for GlobalVision. Personally, I'd like to see a nice concept album of Camille with Eder.
When B&C was in previews, one of the producers in an article discussed putting cut songs on the cast album - of course, that was before the reviews, etc. Hopefully if time and money permit, they can still do that. I'm still surprised Broadway Records, and not Sony Masterworks, is the label due to Wildhorn's involvement with the latter. But I'm sure it all came down to $$.
Better still would be cds of Cyrano & studio casts of Havana, Camille, & any other musicals he has done not produced on broadway as it is obvious we will never see them now.
BWW upcoming CD's says it will be released on 2.1.12 but the website is not even set up for pre-orders. Amazon doesnt even have it posted as being a cd to be ordered.
Methinks it will be after the 2.1.12 original date. Whenever...is the attitude I need to take.

When they recorded it, Claybourne Elder tweeted something mentioning it's going to be a great Easter gift, so I imagine the end of March is when it's going to get released.
