JSC in Miami

Hey everyone,

Last night I had the pleasure of seeing the Jesus Crist Superstar Tour in Miami and I must say, my jaw was in my lap throughout the show! It had to have been the most amazing, vocally speaking, cast I have ever seen! And the 2 leads (Jesus and Judas) were incredible! Jesus was definetly a gift from God! His voice was just...oh i don't even know how to describe it but I have to say I have never heard men sing as well as that ever! Also Jesus' acting skills were right on! This was my first time seeing the show but the acting of everyone was wondeful! I was in tears when they crucifed and beat him!

Tech wise, it was pretty imaginative, while I had a difficult time following the show, the set didn't help very much. Since they only use this one set with two columns, the settings are somewhat confusing but I have to say, I was too intrigued with their voice to really care. One thing that kind of irritated me was at the beginning the lighting designer decided it would be wonderful to flash the audience with motion lights a few times which made my eyes hurt and tear up. If they change anything it'll definetly have to be that, I'm sure they'll get complaints soon. But besides that it was fantastic!

I wanted to give a huge round of applause to the band of JSC. With only have 7 people, 3 of them on keyboards, they sounded like a full orchestra! The sound was spectacular!

I definetly reccommend this show to anyone near any of it's upcoming locations!
