I don't think I've ever seen such instantaneous gouging. Even the producers of MORMON waited until it opened to raise prices. A woman in my office wanted to see it but was turned off by the ever-increasing stratospheric pricing. If the producers of HJ's show are not careful, they're going to price themselves out of what should have been a no-brainer sellout.
Most, if not all of the current Broadway shows, have higher ticket prices around the holidays. Been that way for years. It's all about making money. It's a business.

No, they're not. They could charge $300 for every seat in that house and it would sell out. The producers of LYSISTRATA JONES are pricing themselves out of anyone attending their little show. Hugh Jackman is another story.
