Has anyone sat within the first three rows in the mezz/balcony? I've sat in the back of the orchestra and within the first two rows of the orchestra. How different of an experience is the mezz? Is it too far away? Thanks for any help
The front row of the balcony is probably my favorite place to sit in the Booth, besides the front row. You definitely won't feel too far away. The seating chart on Telecharge also says that the mezz overhangs row H of the orchestra, if that helps you picture it.
I've sat in the last row of the mezzanine and I thought it was fine. It didn't feel too far away to me. With that said, I'm sure the first three rows offer a great view.
Thank you both very much! One more thing, Is there a rail that sits in the way at the booth that would block viewing if you were in the front first rows of the balcony?
If you can get as close as you can in the orchestra! My first time I saw the show I was in the second row of the mezzo and had to keep leaning over to see the first level of the set. While the view for the other two levels are fantastic from the mezzanine, I feel my experience was way more emotional in the second row of the orchestra, and even when I saw it from row N.
I think both locations (orch vs. mezz) are different experiences. In the Orch I find myself following Diana mostly. In the Mezz, I'm more closely following Natalie's journey. Odd that a seat location can do that, but kind of cool.
For me, I prefer anything in the mezz vs the rear orchestra. I love the end of the show and not being able to see Gabe up on the third level really takes away from how powerful then ending can be for me. I also like being able to see all of Gabe during I'm Alive.
