The documentary follows three high school theater troupes and their creative journeys to the "Freddy Awards," the Tony Awards for high school musicals.
Critics have called the film "thrilling," "poignant," "a winner," "infectuous," "downright fun," "poignant," and the "Glee" producers said they were "GLUED to the screen."
Come out and support arts education and musical theater. Director Matthew D. Kallis will be present to answer questions afterward.
Oprah Winfrey just acquired the documentary for her new cable network OWN. The doc will be part of the new OWN documentary club, modeled after Oprah's book club.
