What are your favorite Broadway radio programs? My wife and I are fans of "Footlight Parade" and contributed a recent theme to the show. I also enjoy "A Night on the Town" and "Sunday Showtunes."
How can we get more radio statiosn to carry Broadway themed programs?

Instead of creating a new message thread, I found this one from back in 2010.
I am from NY, and the other day, about a week or two ago, I could have sworn that I heard Dear Evan Hansen's "For Forever" on the radio. It definitely did not seem like an advertisement for the show, because the song started from the beginning, and went on for about 15-30 seconds without interruption. However, I was on one of those FM radio station from Connecticut or something, so the songs on that station often get interrupted by other stations' songs. So after a that brief 15-30 seconds, the song switched to somewhere in the middle of Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" (I was quite disappointed since I was so excited to hear broadway music!). No matter what I did after that to switch the stations around, I never found it again. So basically, I was wondering, are there any FM radio stations available in NY that actually play Broadway music? Did I actually hear Broadway music on the radio, or did I just lose my mind for a few seconds (lol)? If anyone knows any radio stations that play Broadway music, please do share - it would make my drive to/from work much more pleasant.

I've never heard Broadway on regular AM/FM radio.
But, I have satellite radio and there's a dedicated showtunes station there. Sirius/XM channel 72. Made a long car trip I took recently far more entertaining, even if I annoyed my companions in the car with all my singing along.

Emerson College has the best Broadway radio show on FM that I know of. Saturdays 10-2, Sundays 12-2. 88.9FM in Boston or stream online.
