I don't think though that it would close without a month or two notice because I am sure they would receive quite a big sales boost for the final month or so. Also I thought it was doing pretty good business? I know it was full when I went a month or so ago.
Damn. Was hoping to go early October when I've got an empty matinee slot (if you see what I mean). There doesn't seem to have been anything like the hype around this that there was about other Menier shows.
I hope it doesn't close, when I saw this at the beginning of the month, on a Monday night, the balcony was closed, but other than that, it was quite full.
Sincerely hope this still has a while to run. It's a brilliant production of a brilliant and iconic show.
