"Here is the link to the forum with your review: https://www.ohmb.net/showthread.php?t=16036 (It has a lot of responses!)
Also forgot to ask you, does Harley and Mya get killed at the middle or more toward the end? I'm hoping they last past the midway point.

And is there a scene were Harley first meets the warewolf dances/talks with him the halloween party?

And I heard that there is a scene where someone spikes Laurie's drink at the halloween party and she freaks out, is that true?"

I have no idea how you qoute on this site. But 2 things:

1. That website is where I also got this the link to here.

2. I know someone who was on set for the party and they said scout was acting all dazed like she was out of it. so there is a chancce someone spiked her drink.

i don't know the harly/warewolf answer though cause i haven't seen the movie.

Also jordan your awesome and I definately believe you! re: For the Horror Fans: My Rundown of HALLOWEEN 2

-Harley dies first at the party a few minutes before Mya but that happens towards the end of the film.

And is there a scene were Harley first meets the warewolf dances/talks with him the halloween party?
-Yes. It's brief right before they go out to his van.

And I heard that there is a scene where someone spikes Laurie's drink at the halloween party and she freaks out, is that true?"
-Laurie freaks out at the party but if it's because someone spikes her drink it's never shown. It's just one of her hallucination moments like she had before that don't make any sense.

Haha, also jordan theres a million threads about your review on IMDB as well.

I don't get why people think someone would lie about seeing a movie though, you would have to be very, very bored. lol

Edited:

I remembered three things I wanted to ask you, Michael is supposedly maskless for a while, what point in the movie does he 'refined' his mask?

And whats up with the scene with the little boy asking "are you a giant?"

Does Michael do a 'bodyslam' (picks him up and slams him down) on one guy? It was in the trailer it looked awesome.

sorry about the spelling. lol Updated On: 7/23/09 at 11:31 AM

Wow, people HATE me over there!

Michael is supposedly maskless for a while, what point in the movie does he 'refined' his mask?
-Good question. There are a few times we see him without the mask and we see he has the long beard (where I mentioned he looks a lot like Rob Zombie). He always has the mask with him (I'd imagine) but in those few scenes he just doesn't have it on. Like I said before people REALLY didn't like the fact you could see his face.

And whats up with the scene with the little boy asking "are you a giant?"
-That's a trick or treater. Michael is walking down the street where the little boy is out with his Mom. He goes up to him and says that before the mother comes and pulls him away.

Does Michael do a 'bodyslam' (picks him up and slams him down) on one guy? It was in the trailer it looked awesome.
-I'm sorry but I honestly don't remember. I'll look at the trailer and see if it jogs my memory.

:)

Hey thank you for answering those for me. Did you get to check out that link? I've actually seen your review on a few sites now (can't remember them atm, but if I do I shall post them). You should become a professional reviewer, the people will listen to you!

A friend who isn't registered on this board would like to know which of the ladies in this movie expose their breasts? He's really hoping for Brea Grant and the girl who plays Harley, and Laurie too.

Before anyone says I'm lying and a perv, I'm gay and still a perv who would like to see the attractive men nude in this (Loomis does not count) Haha.

It's ok, no need to explain. We gay men love boobs. :)

The only two women who go topless are the stripper in the strip club and than a girl onstage at the Halloween party. Sorry, but none of the others go topless.

Thanks jordan and don't let it bother you. Most people there hate everything and everyone. lol

Heres the video with the "bodyslam", it's at 1:18:

Also think I spotted the wolf dude at 0:15, is that wolfie?

Oh yeah, forgot about that. The bodyslam is on the guy who works at the strip club, and done before he goes inside and takes care of the other two in there.

As for the other, it's REALLY dark in that video but I don't think that's "Wolfie".

ah the strip club. that makes sense. looks brutal.

last question before I have to go (and I'm suprised noboy else has asked) -

Is the "shaky cam" effect in this one?

The first one had quite a lot of it.

Jordan, Hope you don't mind if I ask you a few questions.....How much of the top less girl is shown at the Halloween party? I was under the belief that there were three or four top less girls at the party, but I guess they could of been cut out.

I've read else where that Annie is found nude after she's been attacked, just like in the remake, is that accurate?

Also, how much is Sheriff Brackett in the movie?

Hey, Ned. :)

You don't see too much of the topless girl at the party. Maybe there was another one up on the stage but I didn't really notice. Gay here, sorry. lol

Annie is not nude when she is killed. She's fully dressed.

As for Brackett his part isn't small. Not huge either but he has a few good sized scenes. If I recall, maybe 5.

And no, the "shaky cam" effect is not used. THANK GOD. :)

Thanks Jordan for answering my (and everyone else's) questions. Really appreciated.

Does Caroline Williams (she's the doctor at the start) get much screentime and a death? Here's a pic in case:

re: For the Horror Fans: My Rundown of HALLOWEEN 2

And who are these people and what exactly are they doing? Do they only have a brief scene or are they interspersed throughout the movie on a hunt for Michael or something?

Pic for reference: re: For the Horror Fans: My Rundown of HALLOWEEN 2

The white nurse in the first scene is in it very briefly, only a moment or two. We don't see her die, no but see her afterward when Laurie is escaping down the stairwell.

The 2nd picture is a scene that's ridiculous and needs to be cut all together. It's the scene I mentioned where he just kills three people for no reason in the middle of a field and than eats their dog.

Thanks a lot. :)

One last question, did you get an official running time on your ticket stub or could you estimate how long you thought the movie was roughly?

And I am very glad to hear that there is NO SHAKYCAM, I hate it, you can never see what's going on.

Hi Jordan,
Thank you for posting a great review that comes across as unbiased as possible. I would appreciate if you could answer just a couple of questions that im interested in.

How was the dialouge in this one? Is the language toned down and more realistic than the remake? Are the characters actually likeable or is it just a retread of foul mouthed characters that you wish would die asap?

Does Myers wear an alternative mask at the Phantom Jam party? Does he go with or without his mask on?

Did you get any kind of atmosphere from the film similar to any previous Halloween movies? Was there an eerie vibe or was it just left to having decorations and little else?

Did Michael speak at all and, probably silly to ask, but does he keep his slow styled walk or does he rush around a lot more?

And just to ask finally, it seems like the ending was a rushed thing and that the whole story was written very quickly with not much thought behind it. Do you think with the time left before release, it could still be salvaged and the final film will be at least decent?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Jordan,

-Absolutely. :)

How was the dialouge in this one? Is the language toned down and more realistic than the remake? Are the characters actually likeable or is it just a retread of foul mouthed characters that you wish would die asap?
-That's a tough one. It's standard "horror movie dialogue" (if that makes sense) but it doesn't necessarily come across as unbelievable. As far as being likeable, that's another story. I didn't really care for Laurie in this and as I mentioned before Loomis has become a real di ck and nobody likes him anymore.

Does Myers wear an alternative mask at the Phantom Jam party? Does he go with or without his mask on?
-No, he never wears a different mask but it goes through some wear and tear during the film. When he goes there it is with the mask on.

Did you get any kind of atmosphere from the film similar to any previous Halloween movies? Was there an eerie vibe or was it just left to having decorations and little else?
-There was no eerie vibe to speak of. I didn't really find it suspenseful at all, it really is just your standard modern day slasher film.

Did Michael speak at all and, probably silly to ask, but does he keep his slow styled walk or does he rush around a lot more?
-Noooooo. I think Zombie knew not to have him speak at all (save for little Michael who does speak). He does his regular slow walk, also.

And just to ask finally, it seems like the ending was a rushed thing and that the whole story was written very quickly with not much thought behind it. Do you think with the time left before release, it could still be salvaged and the final film will be at least decent?
- I think the final scene in the white room should be cut and the ending with Laurie coming out of the shed should be reshot to avoid laughter.

:)

Thanks Jordan,

Seems there is not really too much "freshness" that Zombie promised with this one and it is just assorted rehashments from a pick of the previous 9 movies.
Ah well.
I guess the score is still to be added so hopefully that will be something to look forward to!
The ending does sound incredibly lame - as if nudging that we are meant to believe perhaps even Laurie was responsible for the killings herself similar to "High Tension"?
