Will Ellen Burstyn sign and take photos at the stage door after performances of Picnic? She is my all time favourite actress and I am seeing Picnic in early February when I am visiting New York. Thanks for any help or information!
Ms. Burstyn came out the rear door of the theater and was happy to sign when I saw the show in previews. However it is important to note, the ENTIRE rest of the cast leaves through the front door.

Thanks for the information. I have an original movie poster of "The Last Picture Show" for which Ms. Burstyn earned her first Academy Award nomination (Cloris Leachman won for the same film). Cloris Leachman signed it when performing in Toronto in "Showboat". Now I am hoping to get Ms. Burstyn's signature on it as well. It is pretty fragile.
Amusingly Ellen Burstyn seems to have an affinity for signing directly across sebastian stan's face on posters and playbills (at least when i went to see it, that was her go to spot on every one of them)

The stage door for the American Airlines is on 43rd street, not 42nd where you enter. I don't think it's like the Foxwoods where you can exit on 43rd so you have to go around the block.
So Ellen Burstyn actually does come out the back which is the stage door on 43rd? I am assuming you meant the cast comes out the front door where people enter to see the show.
