re: American Idol 7 Stars Who Could Be on Broadway  May 28 2008, 01:30:36 AM
I <3 David Cook. But I don't want him coming to Broadway nor would I expect it. He's gonna be rocking the mainstream pop/rock world soon! But his Music of the Night performance was beautiful. I would love to see him do some Roger/RENT stuff too. *sigh* I want to hear that now!
re: Have you ever left at intermission?  May 4 2008, 02:00:55 AM
The Homecoming-I felt bad leaving cause part of me thinks it's pretty disrespectful, but my family and I were sooo bored.
re: Aaron Tveit is Link in HAIRSPRAY 4/1-4/27  Apr 4 2008, 02:09:52 AM
Even though I personally know Ashley, Aaron will always be my fave Link. He's what got me into Hairspray. haha. I will definitely be seeing him this month! Jacqui's gonna be Penny? They're dating in real life.
re: Saved!  Jan 26 2008, 01:47:51 AM
I heard a while back that Aaron Tveit who played Link before APA is supposed to be in it.
Reviews of Clay in Spamalot?  Jan 23 2008, 11:48:55 PM
I thought Clay did a great job! I saw him on Saturday. He has great comedic timing and always has. I used to be a hardcore Claymate, but now I'm more chill about it. The stage door was insanity. A couple hundred people were there I'd say.
re: Which Off-Broadway shows are worth skiing?  Jan 23 2008, 10:52:33 PM
I was going to say Altar Boyz until you said you've seen it. I just saw it this weekend and LOVED IT!
re: John Gallager Jr.'s last night.  Dec 16 2007, 05:23:55 PM
I saw him last night and I was so happy to be able to see him again before he left. I can't imagine that show without him.
re: LANCE BASS Broadway Debut on Access Hollywood 8/23  Aug 24 2007, 12:36:04 AM
I saw him his opening night and I was really happy with how he did and I'm picky about my Hairspray cast members! Maybe it's because I've loved him for over 8 years, but I was pleasantly surprised by his vocal ability. I never thought he'd be able to pull off those two songs with that bass! I think you can tell he's really happy to be up there on that stage!
re: Catch Me If You Can: The Musical...A First Look!  Aug 19 2007, 01:46:42 AM
Being that Marc has done the music, it's bound to be added to my list of fave musicals! It's already one of my fave movies! I can't wait!

re: Hairspray Aug 17  Aug 18 2007, 11:54:13 PM
^ Oh Lord, did you have to tell me that? I'm not going into detailed rant, but I would have been there had I stayed in the city one more night.
re: Who's Your Favorite 'Edna' in HAIRSPRAY?  Aug 18 2007, 11:40:48 PM
Blake Hammond and Travolta
re: How old were you when you lost your Broadway virginity?  Aug 1 2007, 03:01:06 AM
technically it was when i was 13 with Tom Sewyer on a 7th grade field trip, but i consider Wicked at 18 to be "my first time."
re: FREE Legally Blonde song!  Aug 1 2007, 02:58:54 AM

re: hairspray on broadway responses  Jul 29 2007, 11:46:10 PM

re: Clay Aiken attends 'IDOL: The Musical'  Jul 29 2007, 12:26:48 AM
Why does Clay have to show up a week after I went?! But OMG! that was by far the worst show I've ever seen and I'm beyond obsessed with Idol and have been a "claymate" for 4 years. I felt bad for the actors b/c they are a part of it. Clay must have been about to wet his pants though. The song "Burning Hunk of Clay" was the only good part of the show. It was histerical! Thank goodness for it! We would have walked out of the theater but there was only 16 people, including us, in the audience and n
re: Places to stay in NY?  Jul 27 2007, 07:04:37 PM
I'm with LilBwayLady. I love the Hilton on 53rd and 6th! I stay there once a month almost. It's like home! It's a perfect location and it's really nice too.
re: Hairspray Box Office Tracking Thread  Jul 27 2007, 07:00:44 PM

re: Hairspray - July 25th Evening Quick Comments  Jul 27 2007, 12:38:02 AM
Ashley is a very good Link and he will be there until October. I have no clue why they asked Alexa back for January. Maybe it's b/c I constantly compare her to Diana, but I always feel like standing up in the crowd and saying her lines...b/c I do them so much better than she does! I have faith in Lance (maybe that's b/c i've been a fan since I was 9), but it will be interesting hearing Corny songs being sung so low.
re: Hairspray - July 25th Evening Quick Comments  Jul 26 2007, 02:47:59 AM
OMG! Stephen DeRosa was the best! I miss him!
re: Moments In The HAIRSPRAY Movie That Gave You Chills?  Jul 26 2007, 02:41:13 AM
GClef2, that's definitely the funniest part to a person who knows every line of the show since it's fresh.

I'll think of the parts that give me chills later, but I can't help but smile when Zac says, "Um, kiss my ass?"

( I saw it for the 5th time today. I'm going to give it a week break now. :))
