I was tempted to once, but decided not to. If this has been posted already, my mistake!
He's a faker, and you've been taken in by his con. And in doing so, you are enabling him. He is doing more damage to aspergers than papa's words ever could. -Chane/Liverpool on me having asperger syndrome.

I just can't understand leaving at intermission, no matter how bad a show is. I mean, you've payed the money already, you might as well stay 'till the end.
Never. A friend of mine and I went to see a community theatre production of "Nunsense" and he said later that he would have left at intermission if he hadn't taken me.

With Clay Aiken in Spamalot, all of Broadway is singing a collective "There! Right! There!" -Me-
"Not Barker, Todd is the only person I've ever known who could imitate Katherine Hepburn...in print." -nmartin-
I never did, but at Spring Awakening a couple weeks ago a group of three old people (I'd peg them to be about 75) sat down in front of us. My friends and I saw them and thought "I give them to the Bitch of Living". Well, they stuck it out to intermission, but took their stuff and left then. They definitely stayed longer than we expected!
Obviously they left because they were offended, not just because they thought it was a bad show. They should have just read all of the warnings in the lobby...
Better view when they left, though =)
"I told you, NO Rodgers and Hammerstein!"- Bart Simpson
I have never left at intermission myself but it seems like everytime I see Wicked the people sitting aside of or in back of me walk out. It happened twice when I was in front row.
Don't believe everything that you hear! Only the peeps involved know the truth!

It usually happens when you see a lot of shows..I have never done it before till last year. I started seeing shows in 1992. This year...I was bad in NOT showing to the shows with ticket. I did it 7 times and gave my tickets for 3 times. Total of 10 times and that's all Broadway shows!
I intended to leave at intermission during "High Fidelity", but for whatever reason decided not to. In retrospect, that was a stupid choice. Picking lint off my socks would have been a more interesting evening than "High Fidelity".
"Your lyrics lack subtlety! You can't just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!"
I can't understand how some of you are saying you would leave Cry-Baby at intermission IF you saw it! IF you haven't SEEN the show YOURSELF, how can you make such a prediction? Plus what would be the point of buying the ticket if you knew you were going to leave halfway?
I left at All Shook Up. I still mourn the hour of my life I lost from Act I.
I WISH I left Curtains.
As far as: already paid the tix? THAT'S not going to keep me in my seat...it's my life and time that is more valuable than ANYTHING.
My motto: If we're not having any fun, they why are we doing it!
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
I have been posting and lurking on this board for 2 years, so I have read a lot of posts. There are posters on here who seem to have very similar views to me, and I trust their opinions. After reading their views on the show I would have been tempted to stay away, SO I can't fault people for saying that they probably would leave the show at intermission, even thought they haven't seen it. I did get a free ticket during previews, and I made it through to curtain call. However, I was quite tempted to leave. The only reason I stayed was to see how much of a train wreck it would turn out to be. The funny thing is that Little women (at least the first act) was better than Cry baby, but so boring that I left. I guess it really comes down to Schadenfreude vs. Ennui when it comes to leaving.
Other than that, did you enjoy the play Mrs Lincoln?
