I always loved Cabaret's.
Leap of Faith to perform at the Tonys...  May 31 2012, 12:20:52 AM
I'd like to see them do Last Chance Salvation.

ETA: I think the goal here now is to have a successful tour with this one. But who on earth would take on Jonas for the road?

Is she still with Christian Borle?
Ricky Martin Stage Door Evita  Apr 18 2012, 08:38:30 PM
It is such a pet peeve of mine when people pimp their kids to get something they actually want for themselves. Like an autograph.
Christian Borle, Adam Chanler-Berat, Celia Keenan-Bolger to Return for Broadway's PETER AND THE STARCATCHER  Feb 17 2012, 12:31:31 AM
Yes.
Most Expensive/Least Expensive Show You've Seen  Oct 24 2011, 08:15:12 PM
Here's some irony. Most expensive was the Actor's Fund Concert of Hair at the New Amsterdam. I can't remember how much I paid, but it was well over a hundred dollars. And the least expensive was a comp ticket to Hair on Broadway.
PETER AND THE STARCATCHER to Open on Broadway This Spring  Oct 20 2011, 01:21:05 AM
BEST NEWS ALL YEAR! If Christian Borle can't be in the Broadway production, I hope they are smart enough to offer the role of Black Stache to Carson Elrod.
Which shows work better on CD than in the theatre?  Aug 29 2011, 09:55:37 AM
Spring Awakening. When I saw it, I didn't love it. But after someone gave me the cd, I did fall in love with the music.
Best Solo CD?  Aug 29 2011, 09:51:32 AM
My favorite solo album is probably Emily Skinner's. That cd is brilliant.
Favorite Plays of the DC Area 2010-2011 Season  Aug 27 2011, 03:00:08 PM
A bit of a side note, but I can't wait to see The Heir Apparent at The Shakespeare Theatre.
Peter & The Starcatcher aiming for winter broadway debut  Aug 25 2011, 08:40:15 AM
Here we go again.
Peter & The Starcatcher aiming for winter broadway debut  Aug 23 2011, 12:02:37 AM
Every time I see this thread my heart leaps and my mind prays for any official word. I so desperately want this show to transfer. I don't give a flying fairy as to what Broadway house it goes to, as long as it gets there (preferably sooner, rather than later)! And, I also want the entire ensemble to reprise their roles. Especially Carson Elrod. (Though I don't know how realistic my desire for an entire ensemble reprise is.) I swear, if I ever had any money to spare, I would invest it in this
Lily Rabe & Hamish Linklater Join Alan Rickman in SEMINAR  Aug 15 2011, 03:26:58 PM
Hamish Linklater AND Alan Rickman in a show together? Perfect!
re: Drew Sarich: Where Is He Now?  Aug 3 2011, 09:08:41 PM
I had to bump this thread. No doubt he's strutting about on some stage in Europe, but I miss him here! Dear Drew, come back to Broadway, bitte.
Shakespeare in the Park Lines?  Jul 28 2011, 02:29:59 PM
It's definitely worth a try.
Peter & The Starcatcher aiming for winter broadway debut  Jul 25 2011, 02:51:54 PM
I'm not sure I'll ever be able to express in words how much this play means to me. It was the most beautiful show I've ever seen, and I will be heartbroken if it doesn't get shown by a broader audience. I think Peter and the Starcatcher is, in fact, just the thing Broadway needs. And though I hope it reaches a Broadway audience no matter what, for me personally, because I connected with it so closely, I can't imagine seeing this show without the entire NYTW cast. Which I know is incredibly u
Successes of DANCING AT LUGHNASA and THE BEAUTY QUEEN...  Jul 20 2011, 11:09:22 PM
I've never seen either of these plays, but I love them both dearly.
What is the best show you have ever seen?  Jul 17 2011, 02:46:17 PM
For many years, it was the David Esbjornson production of The Normal Heart at The Public in 2004. Now however, it's Peter and the Starcatcher. I'm still waiting and keeping my fingers crossed for news of a Broadway transfer.
Raul Esparza Master Class  Jul 14 2011, 09:29:59 AM
Now that I've gathered my thoughts a bit more, I can say this-Raul was such an amazing cheerleader. And somehow (at least from where I was standing) he made me feel confidant and proud to be who I was.
Raul Esparza Master Class  Jul 14 2011, 12:27:18 AM
The short answer is it was amazing. I'm the luckiest girl in the world.
