The running time is a little over 2 hours. I saw a production recently and it is really a wonderful play. Very amusing.

I saw it in 1977 when Robert Preston replaced George C. Scott. I loved it. Preston was great (he may have gotten better reviews than Scott, I'm not sure). It's a wonderful play.
I don't know that I will see the revival though. What Preston and co-stars Jack Gilford, Gretchen Wyler, Jeffrey Tambor and Hector Elizondo brought to the show can't easily be replaced. They really knew how to play a big classic comedy. I don't know that anyone in the new cast, except original cast member Bob Dishy, has that kind of style. It's a good thing Arthur Penn is directing again. Maybe he can strike hot twice.
If I hadn't seen the original production, I would see this production.

I also saw the original production when Robert Ptreston took over. Did Cleavon Little play his sidekick? I enjoyed the play beut won't go out of my way to see the revival.

Cleavon Little had the Hector Elizondo role in the tour opposite Jackie Gleason. I think Elizondo did the whole Broadway run. He was terrific. I wish he'd do another NY stage appearance.

Sly Fox is very funny, very commercial and there was no great public clammor to revive it. I can't figure out why they're bringing it back.
In the 70s I was working for producers who did bus and truck tours and they sent me to see if we ought to think about getting the b&t rights. I reported back that it would be like doing a musical (20 actors, multiple sets) except that in this case there were no songs.
I wish them well. I'd rather see a bang-up production of Volpone with Richard Dreyfus however.
