Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood is set to run at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival from February 1 to February 28, 2025. This rendition reimagines the classic tale of Robin Hood as he leads his band of Merry Men in a fight against tyranny and injustice. Under the artistic leadership of Quin Gresham, the production promises a blend of engaging storytelling and energetic performances, capturing the spirit of community and adventure at the heart of the beloved legend.

From its founding in a high school auditorium in Anniston in 1972 to its designation as the State Theatre of Alabama in 1977 to the stunning $21.5 million performing arts complex in Montgomery (built in 1985), ASF has been a leader in the performing arts throughout the state, region, and country.
