Alabama Shakespeare Festival launches its 40th season with Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, directed by Artistic Director Quin Gresham. This adaptation of the classic mystery unfolds aboard the luxurious Orient Express, where detective Hercule Poirot, portrayed by Chris Mixon, must unravel a murder amidst a stranded train. The ensemble cast includes Axel Avin, Jr., Tarah Flanagan, and Daniel Harray, among others, as they navigate questions of justice that resonate beyond the stage.
