Alabama Shakespeare Festival presents The Lehman Trilogy, directed by Matt Torney, from January 29 to February 15. This production tells the true story of the Lehman brothers—Henry, Emanuel, and Mayer—who immigrated to Montgomery, Alabama, and founded the global investment banking firm Lehman Brothers, exploring themes of ambition and the American Dream. The cast features Andrew Benator as Mayer Lehman, Brian Kurlander as Henry, and Eric Mendenhall as Emanuel. This adaptation by Ben Power, based on Stefano Massini's original text, reflects on the complexities of wealth and power across generations.
