The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs! at Birmingham Children's Theatre

He huffed. He puffed. And now he wants a fair trial. Birmingham Children’s Theatre is thrilled to announce The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs, a high-energy musical that turns a familiar fairy tale delightfully on its head, opening on BCT's MainStage in September.

Based on Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith's beloved picture book, the show puts the Wolf on trial for destroying all three pigs' homes — but there's a catch: the prosecutor, the judge, and every witness are also pigs, making "Piggsylvania's Trial of the Century" anything but fair. As the case unfolds, audiences are treated to a funny, fast-moving exploration of perspective, persuasion, and the stories we tell.
