One Night Only Presentation of THE NORMAL HEART to Benefit Birmingham AIDS Outreach and DPTS
By: Kelsey Denette
THE NORMAL HEART is scheduled for a performance in Birmingham for February 12.
According to the show's website, "this one-night-only Concert Performance, benefiting Birmingham AIDS Outreach and DPTS, is a searing drama about public and private indifference to the AIDS plague and one man's fight to awaken the world to the crisis. The Normal Heart follows Ned Weeks, a gay activist enraged at the indifference of public officials and the gay community, who must also confront the personal toll of AIDS when his lover dies of the disease."
